What is the difference between ESD static diodes and TVS diodes in application?

What is the difference between the application of electrostatic diodes and TVS diodes in electronic circuits? It can be distinguished from multiple aspects.
1、 ESD static diode, the main function is anti-static, however, anti-static requires a low capacitance value, generally between 1-3.5PF is best; However, the capacitance value of TVS diodes is relatively high.
2、 ESD protection diode, mainly used for board level protection; TVS diodes are used for primary and secondary protection.
3、 When choosing ESD static diodes again, more attention should be paid to the ESD rating (HBM/MM) of the ESD diode and the LEVEL of IEC61000-4-2. High speed USB and I/O attach great importance to the C of the ESD diode; When choosing TVS diodes, it depends on power and packaging form.
